About Jameson Humane
Jameson Humane is an impact-driven California nonprofit organization that collaborates and educates to inspire change in animal welfare, not only in local communities, but around the world. Monica and David Stevens founded Jameson Humane in 2014 as a 501(c)(3) registered nonprofit organization to improve animal welfare through global collaboration and education for the benefit of all life. The organization was named in memory of the Stevens’ beloved dog Jameson, an adopted Great Pyrenees who lived to the age of 14 and inspired the spirit and mission.
Jameson Humane operates multiple solutions-based programs to create a truly unique animal welfare organization that is unlike any other animal rescue or sanctuary for the benefit of the greater community and its animals.
Programs & Services of note include:
-
Help Center: assisting those in need with a variety of requests, including animal re-homing, spay/neuter resources, disaster preparedness, subsidized medical care, food, and supplies.
-
Senior Citizens’ Pet Wellness Program: maintaining activity and care for seniors’ companion animals.
-
Andy & Betty Beckstoffer Community Pet Pantry: developed during the wildfires and pandemic to provide free pet food and supplies for families who are unable to provide for their animal companions. Available in Napa at Crosswalk Church every 2nd and 4th Thursday, monthly, and open during disasters.
-
Community Animal Assistance Program (CAAP): ensuring animals and humans are able to stay together through subsidized medical care, food, and temporary housing assistance, including for those facing domestic violence issues and the houseless.
-

Every day, Jameson’s work is guided by how animals, humans, and our planet are all inextricably connected.
